Our Statement of Faith
We believe the success of our mission at Tree of Life Academy will be nurtured through cultivating a strong community of faith that supports Christian families in their child's educational journey. For this reason we ask our participating families (primary care-givers seeking enrollment), volunteers and staff to review and sign that they agree to respect the standards and beliefs of our program as outlined in our Statement of Faith.
● We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
● We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
● We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracle, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
● We believe that God is love and the depth of his love was demonstrated by the life,
death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and in the response we are called to compassionately love our neighbor.
● We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
● We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
● We believe our salvation and our eternal life is a gift of God’s grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ and we are called to be a living testimony to others of that free and available grace.
● We believe that the ministry of evangelism and discipleship is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.
● We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
● We believe that God created man and woman as unique biological persons made in His image. We believe that God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of monogamous marriage, exclusively between one genetic male and one genetic female.
